Because You Shouldn't Have to Do This Alone
Find Your People, Find Your Tools, Find Your Way Back to Joy!
You're caring for someone you love - and that alone is a full-time emotional job. You might be:
Stuck in a caregiving routine where every day feels like "Groundhog Day."
On constant alert, waiting for the next issue, mood shift, or crisis
Too tired to imagine what "taking care of yourself" would even look like
Carrying fear, guilt, resentment and deep love - all at once
Wondering how this became your life...
You're doing everything you can - and still feeling depleted, unseen, and unsure how long you can keep this up.
Please Hear Me:
You are NOT failing.
You are most likely overwhelmed...
And you were never meant to do this alone!
You look strong on the outside - but feel exhausted inside
You're hyper-vigilant and can't truly relax
You're afraid of making the "wrong" decisions
You feel isolated - even when others are around
You don't recognize yourself anymore
You know how competent you are as a caregiver, but wonder if there could be more to your life.
You know in your heart that what matters to you...matters!
You've probably heard this before:
"Make sure you take care of yourself, too.."
And while that may be true, most caregivers are left wondering:
How?
When?
With what energy?
And what if I don't even know what I need anymore?
The JoyQuest Support Space exists because caregivers don't need more advice.
They need real support and real tools that work inside real caregiving days.
Traditional Caregiver Support
"Take care of yourself so you can take care of others"
Helpful concepts, but little "application" guidance
Sharing feelings, hoping things eventually shift
Constantly solving problems - knowing the next one's around the corner
Focused on external circumstances
Told to "build a support team" without there actually being one
Emotions are managed, put on "hold" or "pushed through."
The JoyQuest
Support Space
Self care is practiced together - gently and consistently
Tools work in real caregiving moments - not ideal ones
Emotions aren't just talked about - they're moved through the body
Focus is on "how you meet problems" - not endlessly "fixing" them
Focused on calming the nervous system, so clarity, intuition and steadiness can return
You're not told to "build" support - you're invited into it
Emotions are welcomed - without judgment, coping or forcing change
JoyQuest isn't about "doing caregiving" better.
It's about experiencing it differently.
There was a time when I was terrified to be alone with my husband, Ben.
His dementia progressed quickly, and I lived in constant fear —
afraid of triggering another violent episode,
afraid I wouldn’t be able to keep us safe,
afraid of making one wrong move.
My body never relaxed.
Even when help was available, my nervous system didn’t trust it.
If you’ve ever felt that same knot in your stomach —
that same sense that everything depends on you —
I see you. I’ve been there.
If You Can’t Stand One More Minute of Trying to Cope, Manage, or Hide How You Feel…
If you’re exhausted from holding everything together…
If you’re afraid to let the sadness and grief come up because you think it will never stop…
If you’re scared to feel your anger in case you hurt someone — or something — you love…
If the fear and anxiety feel so big you worry they might paralyze you…
You’re in the right place.
Most of us were never taught how to be with big emotions.
We were told to calm down.
To be strong.
To not make a scene.
So as caregivers — when the emotions get bigger than ever —
we try to manage them, cope with them, or push them down.
And that resistance is often what leaves us more exhausted, more anxious, and more overwhelmed than the circumstances themselves.
If you're ready for...
Feeling steadier in your body and clearer in your mind
Stopping the self-judgment around your emotions
Trusting your intuition again
Experiencing peace even when circumstances don't change
Feeling connected to people who truly understand
Shifting from "I have to do this..." to "I GET to do this..."
Then here's how we roll...
What We Do Inside the JoyQuest Support Space
JoyQuest isn’t about pretending things are fine.
And it’s not about endlessly “reframing” or talking yourself out of how you feel.
It’s about learning how to let the energy of emotions move through your body... so they don’t get stuck… and don’t keep running your life from the background.
There was a day when everything felt like it was breaking at once —
a leaking washer,
a mailbox smashed by a snowplow,
a hole in the deck that could injure someone,
technology crashing —
All layered on top of my sadness and grief about the holidays, and the emotional whiplash that comes with loving someone who has dementia.
In that moment,
I didn’t try to “think positively.”
I didn’t analyze it.
I didn’t tell myself a better story.
I moved the energy through my body.
I walked fast in a circle outside my house.
I smashed ice cubes on the driveway.
I tapped.
I breathed.
And as my body settled, my mind followed.
That’s the kind of support I teach inside JoyQuest —
Because when the body calms...
you can think more clearly,
make better decisions,
and respond instead of react.
Why the Live Calls Matter
(Even When You Feel Like You Have No Time)
When we meet live, you’re not alone with emotions that feel too big to hold.
We work with what’s real — in the moment — together.
You’ll learn how to:
allow sadness without drowning in it
let anger move through without causing harm
meet fear and anxiety without being overtaken
So instead of bracing yourself all day long,
your nervous system gets a chance to reset.
That’s why these calls are worth your time —
because they save you energy everywhere else.
You’re Not Just Told to “Build Support” — You’re Inside It
Between calls, you’ll have access to a private support space where you can:
share something when it’s happening — not days later
name a fear instead of letting it spiral
celebrate a small win or a sweet moment
feel understood without explaining yourself
This is a shared space — caregivers supporting caregivers.
I’ll drop in with guidance and perspective,
but the power of this space is that you’re no longer carrying things alone.
Because a joy shared is doubled.
And a pain shared is cut in half.
What You’re Really Saying Yes To
You’re not signing up for “two calls a month” or “tools.”
You’re saying yes to:
feeling steadier in your body
having a safe place for emotions you’ve been holding in
making decisions from clarity instead of panic
experiencing caregiving — and your life — differently
Not because your circumstances magically change…
but because YOU do.

I once believed our lives were over — that I’d never smile again. But as I stopped fighting reality and allowed myself to be guided by something wiser than fear, everything shifted.
This journey became an unexpected expansion.
As my expectations fell away, I experienced unconditional love — and with it, a depth of contentment and quiet joy I never thought possible.
Not because life got easier…but because I learned how to meet it differently.
Imagine waking up without the constant knot in your chest.
Imagine trusting yourself again.
Imagine realizing your life isn’t over —it’s unfolding differently.
And that there is still room for peace… connection… joy.
Fear → Trust
Control → Surrender
Isolation → Connection
Burnout → Steadiness
Survival → Peace
You don’t become someone new.
You come home to yourself.
One Last Shift That Changed Everything
Learning how to reset my nervous system — again and again — changed my life.
What once sent me into fear no longer does.
